About
My therapeutic approach reflects my belief that within our most difficult emotions lie the seeds of resilience, wisdom and wholeness. That our life challenges can also illuminate a path toward a happier and more authentic self and with skilled and compassionate guidance we are all innately capable of healing and thriving.
My work as a therapist began in New York City just after 9/11 in the midst of my psychology training. I was a volunteer counselor at Healing Works, an organization that offered low-cost counseling to a diverse group of uninsured New Yorkers.
I welcome individuals of all ages in my practice, from adolescents to seniors, and draw from many therapies and modalities honed in my years as a therapist and mindfulness teacher–practitioner, including strengths-based approaches, trauma-informed therapies, self-compassion, mindfulness, meditation, breathwork and somatic balancing.
